Bruce Hitchner"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>R. Bruce Hitchner is professor of classics and international relations at Tufts University. His research and teaching focuses on the history and archaeology of the Roman empire. His main areas of interest and publication are the Roman economy and the Gallic and North African provinces of the empire.
