Jesse Casana is with the Anthropology Department at the University of Arkansas, and holds his degrees from the University of Chicago (Ph.D. and M.A.) and the University of Texas at Austin (B.A.). His areas of specialization are Near Eastern archaeology (particularly landscape archaeology and settlement), satellite imagery and remote sensing, and geoarchaeology.
