She specializes in monumentality and epigraphy in the Roman Asia Minor with a focus on the presentation of writing and experiencing epigraphy in the urban context. She has published two editions of the textbook <em>The Romans: An Introduction<\/em> (Routledge) together with a number of articles and book chapters.
