Gül Gürtekin Demir is currently working as professor of classical archaeology at Ege University, Turkey, where she also gained her Ph.D. She specializes in Lydian pottery and Lydian archaeology. Her other areas of interest are the Anatolian Iron Age, interregional relations of Anatolian pottery, as well as Asia Minor in the Archaic period. Her current projects in Turkey include the publication of Lydian pottery at Gordion (from Rodney Young’s excavations), Sardis and Tabae (Kale-i Tavas), and archaic Greek and Anatolian pottery at Anaia (Kad\u0131kalesi).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":4,"featured_media":2574,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"footnotes":""},"class_list":["post-2573","authors","type-authors","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"\nR.
