Tristan Carter is a professor of archaeology in the Department of Archaeology at McMaster University. He is a Eurasian prehistorian whose work spans the Palaeolithic to Bronze Age; his research involves detailing lithic technology (and sourcing) as a means of engaging with debates on early human dispersals, Neolithization, and other forms of cultural interaction.
