Shannon LaFayette Hogue is a visiting assistant professor in the Department of Classics and Modern Languages at Xavier University. She has a B.A. in classical archaeology and anthropology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, an M.A. in classical archaeology from Tufts University, and a Ph.D. in Aegean Prehistory from the University of Cincinnati. Her research interests include Mycenaean palatial architecture and the impact of site destructions and landscape change on regional cultural memory.
