Barrett"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Caitl&iacute;n Barrett is assistant professor of classics at Cornell University and holds degrees from Yale University (Ph.D.) and Harvard University (A.B.). Her research investigates cultural, religious, and trade connections between Egypt and the rest of the ancient Mediterranean world; the archaeology of religion and ritual; and the material culture of ancient households. Her first monograph, <em>Egyptianizing Figurines from Delos: A Study in Hellenistic Religion<\/em> (Leiden and Boston 2011), investigated hybridization and religious change in Hellenistic households through the study of &ldquo;Egyptianizing&rdquo; terracotta figurines from Delos.
