His research interests center on the European Neolithic and Bronze Age with special focus on the third millennium B.C.E., cultural diversity, sociocultural transformation processes, and archaeolinguistics. His academic teaching centers on the Neolithic and Bronze Age in Denmark and northern Europe, field archaeology, and archaeological documentation and analyses.
