Scott Gallimore is Associate Professor in the Department of Archaeology & Heritage Studies at Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. His research examines the economic history of the Greek world under Roman rule, with particular emphasis on the island of Crete and the northeast Peloponnese.
